Leila McKenna

Leila is an urban planner with over 30 years’ experience in housing, urban development and public property development across public and private sectors. Founding Managing Director of the City of Johannesburg Property Company, she now provides technical support to the National Treasury City Support Programme’s Inner City work in Johannesburg. She is a co-director of the Centre for Public Real Estate which provides advisory services to various public entities on property development. She holds an MSc in Development Planning from the University of Witwatersrand and a MSc in Cities from the London School of Economics.
